Two years ago today we were recovering from Hazel's birth, late the night before!
Yesterday we celebrated by eating bacon, skyping with family and opening presents. Overall, a good day.

Marlee did a great job letting Hazel open up all those presents. Besides, she got to enjoy some of them too!
In other news, Hazel has decided to use the potty. What a big girl! The motivation? All those "boo yim yims"*

Bean

Thanks to Aunt Hannah for the cute pea pod hat, Lucy made an appearance as a "bean" for Halloween (and during subsequent days).
She doesn't look too happy about the situation in the photo, but perhaps the hat is itchy. Lucy has also been learning to use her voice. She just loves to talk back and forth with people and really gets going if someone is right in front of her face, making baby sounds right back at her.
